In 1989 Kathy Littler bought the Colorado Popcorn Company, which was then a very small operation doing only local business, and relocated the company to the heart of the plains in beautiful downtown Sterling, Colorado. Over the last eleven years she has expanded her small company into a thriving business, providing a superior product at a reasonable price. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed. She has done business on small, local levels as well as huge national levels. People in the city of Sterling, Colorado call her the "Popcorn Lady", coming from miles around to taste her delightfully robust flavors. In addition, she has done business with companies like Frontier Airlines, providing them with small snack bags of various flavors for travelers on their domestic US flights. The Colorado Popcorn Company has also been featured in regional television and radio news shows.
